Summer Blouse Trends
SHOP THE POST
Happy humpday friends!!
You're half way through the work week - well some of you have a short week this week, woohoo!
Since this is Memorial Day weekend, I'm sure most of you have parties, events, or plans to attend! That being said, have you though about what you're going to wear?!?! I'm sure you have ;) lol
Since there are SO many cute trends for blouses right now, I am going to list a few of my favorites, and you may just find that perfect top for your weekend plans :)
I knew the moment I saw this white blouse (the one in my photos above) that it was coming home with me! It's got three of my favorite trends all in one, AND it's white (I'm SUCH a sucker for a pretty white blouse)! UNFORTUNATELY, it's from TJ MAXX so I can't link it for y'all to shop, BUT I've linked a few similar in the "Shop the Post" scroll bar above, and I'll be linking even more for you below!
I've always thought an open back was a pretty addition to a blouse, however I didn't really own many open back blouses, UNTIL.... I wore an open back blouse one day and my husband, Nathan, kept saying how pretty I looked, and that he liked my top ;) NOTED: Nathan really likes open back blouses on me, haha! So needless to say I went and bought every pretty open back top I could find, lol! But really, I love this trend and although I can't speak for all the guys out there, my husband likes them!
This is one of those trends that I actually hated at first. Yeah... I had to eat my words because now I wear them all the time, lol. My favorite type of cold shoulder tops are the ones that have the little ties (like the one I'm wearing in this post). I think they are very feminine and romantic, and also more flattering on my arm because they aren't tight and squeezing the "fluff" on the backs of my arms, haha.
LOVE THIS TREND!!! I think I could wear an off-the-shoulder top every single day of my life! They are super summery and make me think of a picture I love of my mama when she was younger, wearing a pretty white off-the-shoulder top! Although I love most off-the-shoulders, I like to try them on because some of them are NOT comfortable and seem to creep up no matter how many times you pull it off your shoulders! So my tip would be to try them on and move your arms around a little to see if you like it!
I've been seeing so many blouses lately that have some sort of embellishment (tie/bow/ruffle) on them, and they are SO pretty! I think it's such a romantic feature, and makes me feel ultra girly. I know they aren't for everyone, but dare yourself to try one of these, and I bet you'll like it ;)
