Hi friends!
Can we believe it's almost Halloween?! Which means its Nearly NOVEMBER? WHAT?!? Well in case you're like me and last time you looked at the calendar was Oct. 1st and you're scrambling for a last minute costume, well then you're in the right place! I gotchu girl! A few years ago I had the bright idea of being a cute little deer for halloween. I made a set of antlers on a headband and added these pretty little pink flowers to make it look whimsy and cute. Well, to my surprise everyone that night came up to me and said, "OMG YOU'RE A SNAPCHAT FILTER, HOW CUTE!" Uhhh, no I'm a deer, but thanks, lol. Those silly millennials (... I'm clearly a millennial too guys, lol). SOOOOO, that got me thinking, why not BE a snapchat filter this year! Of course I love a good filter, but there are a few that I absolutely LOVE and my life is made when they reappear on the app. Those handful of faves consist of that one that looks like vintage film, the gosh awful one that makes your mouth huge (that's my alter ego lol), and the pretty bronzy one that gives you gold butterflies and sparkles around your head ?? Needless to say, who wouldn't want to be bronzy and tan and sparkly and have shimmering butterflies sworming around their head on Halloween?! I mean that just screams, "YASSSS!" (Ugh here I go embarrassing myself again). Anyways, I'm going to show you how to be the Bronze Butterfly Goddess (that's what we are gonna call her... and by "her" I mean the filter lol) for your last minute DIY Halloween costume. Honestly, this is NOT a hard costume, so if you're DIY challenged, don't you worry, YOU GOT THIS! HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Hot Glue Gun
We will use this to glue the butterflies to the hair clips. Don't worry I'm not going to make you use this to attached the rhinestones to your face, lol. You're welcome :) Any glue gun will work!
Stencils
I printed out the butterfly outlines you see below. I printed both styles in a large and small size. I then traced 3 large in both styles, and one small in both styles, for a total of 8 butterflies! HERE'S HOW
Y'all are going to look beautiful and bronze and sparkly, I can't wait! If any of you use this costume idea, please tag me! I want to see! Have a wonderful and safe Halloween!
xoxo,
Kayley

Okay, okay so I know this can be a controversial matter, but I get a TON of requests for a blog post on designer dupes. Some of you like the real deal while others of you are all about a dupe! I fall somewhere RIGHTTTTT in the middle. I love having designer pieces, when I can afford to splurge, but I also understand how tempting it can be to save on a dupe. I will say that all of my handbags are real, and that's one thing that I just prefer to splurge on for the sake of quality. When it comes to shoes and belts, I have a little of both. Sooooo, don't send me any hate messages, lol I am simply extending some resources for those that choose to buy the occasional dupe :)
These designer pieces are some that I am currently obsessing over, or have recently purchased for myself (oops)! Also, a major heads up- if you're used to buying real designer pieces, or you've never purchased a dupe, remember not to expect the quality of a designer piece... hence why it's less expensive ;) I'm always pretty skeptical when I am eyeing a designer inspired item because some websites can be sketchy so read reviews and do a little research before you order! Here we go... the moment you've been waiting for! Below I have my favorite designer/dupe combos, and then below that even MORE for you! Ready, set, SHOP! SCROLL BELOW FOR MORE DUPES!SHOP THE POST
My favorite time of year for fashion is FALL! Sweaters, boots, hats, and scarves... ? lol!
I think one of my favorite trends this Fall is going to be mini skirts and OTK boots. It's easy, chic, and just so cute! This look could also be so great with a slouchy sweater instead of a blouse- a simple way to make it a little more casual. A few other fall trends that I'm loving right now are these baker boy hats (I think I could wear a hat everyday) and I'm also very into teddy coats! I always feel like Fall is a great time to try new trends and push the envelope with my style. I know some people are intimidated by animal print, but maybe try a leopard shoe with a neutral outfit, or an animal print handbag! There are so many fun ways to spice things up with your accessories :) I've rounded up some of my favorite fall pieces that I've come across and a few that I've already purchased ;) I hope you guys find a few things you like! Happy Shopping :) FALL FASHION FAVES
Hi my Pretties!
I hope you all are having a wonderful day! Y'all know I love trying new skincare and haircare, and of course I'm going to share with you all the things I love. I have been testing out a few skincare products from both Borghese and SALT by Hendrix. The first product is this COCO-SOAK by SALT by Hendrix. You add it to your bath and it seriously makes your skin feel AMAZING! Oh, and it has Matcha in it, woah! Honestly I haven't used anything like this before. It's like a bath bomb, but feels even better (apparently that's possible lol). You don't have to add much to your bath, so I feel like it's going to last me a good while. While I was soaking in my bath, I used the Borghese mud mask on my face. This is one of my favorite masks! It makes my skin feel SO refreshed and clean. My skin literally glows after I use it! After I rinse off the mask, I use the Botanical Facial Serum from SALT by Hendrix. I apply a dime size amount and rub it into my skin, and let it soak in for a minute or two. THEN I use my jade roller all over my face... it's my favorite part ;) I used to be so confused about what the heck these little jade rollers were lol, but after I used one for the first time I understood :) It makes your face feel so relaxed! And it's supposed to help with your complexion as well. Double plus! THIS is the roller I use. If you try any of these products, let me know how you like them! Can't wait to hear :) SHOP THE POSTSHOP THE POST
