Hi my pretties! I hope y'all are having the most wonderful day today! So if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I recently took a little solo vacay to Miami last week. It was only a few days, but it was AMAZING! I'm going to write another blog post about my experience traveling/vacationing alone, and why I did it, but I wanted to first do a review on this adorable hotel that I stayed at. I actually had no intentions of traveling and was just scrolling through Instagram, but happened to stumble upon an adorable picture of this hotel. I was just dreaming and thought I'd check out their website.... well one thing led to another and before I knew it I had a trip booked to Miami, lol. I have to say I was a leeeetle nervous that it may not be as cute as it looked in the pictures, but to my delight it was even BETTER!!!! Sorry, I'm sure you're like "TELL ME ABOUT THE HOTEL ALREADY," haha - it's the Plymouth Hotel Miami. It's more of a boutique hotel: super cute rooms, a precious little pool area, and two restaurants! If you're looking to party hard, this probably isn't the hotel for you, but if you're wanting a relaxing and quiet getaway you need to go! First, let's talk about the rooms! They are all super neutral in color, but so pretty and bright. White bathrooms, big windows, white sheets.... ahhhh it's a dream. Some rooms even have a pink headboard and couch (see photos below)! I got a room with a pool view, and EEP I loved it. Rooms are spacious, clean, have a stocked mini bar, a large full size mirror, the best smelling soap and shampoo (haha), comfy linens, robes, and awesome lighting! I was so pleased with my room. Next, let's chat about the food. One word: AMAZING! If you're a sushi lover like I am, you're going to be in heaven! They have a sushi restaurant at the hotel called Blue Ribbon Sushi. Apparently this is a super well known sushi restaurant that started in New York, and now they have another location here at the hotel. Best part... you can order the sushi up to your room! I got the blue fin tuna sashimi, unagi, and a crab roll. I have to say it's some of the best sushi I've ever had! If you're not a sushi lover, don't worry- they have a cafe that serves an amazing breakfast and lunch. I got pancakes one morning, and uhhhh ate every last bite :) For lunch I ordered the chips and guac and also the shrimp tacos. Pretty sure I polished off all that too, lol. If you just want room service every meal, girllllll you're in luck! I was seriously blown away with their room service menu. I was expecting chicken fingers and wings... umm try filet mignon and seared tuna salads!!! All the heart eyes. I think y'all catch the drift... they have really good food, haha. When I'm traveling, I love being by the pool, but if I'm in Miami, I need to see the beach! Although you don't have a beach view from the hotel, it is only 2 blocks away. You can either walk (only about 5 minutes) or the hotel will drive you there on a golf cart, and then pick you up. I went one afternoon to the beach and of course loved it - the hotel has a little stand and they will set you up with chairs, umbrellas, and even drinks!!! This was a major perk to me. If you're not into going to the beach, no worries because the pool is stinkin' adorable! As you can see in my photos - it's SO dreamy. They play relaxing music, everyone is just reading a book or tanning, and there is staff that waits on you! I can't say enough good things about it. This is where I spent most of my time. Oh and the pool is open 24/7, which I loved! Lastly, the staff... they were so kind and accommodating! When I first got there they were very friendly and made sure I knew where everything was, and that I was happy with my room. Room service was always super quick, and the rooms were very clean. The gentlemen that wait on you by the pool were also great! Always quick and very accommodating. Clearly y'all can tell that I loved this hotel, and wished I could have stayed longer! If y'all get a chance, go! Even if it's not for very long. PS- this is not an ad! All just my opinion :) xoxo,
