Like An It Girl

Hey Pretty!
I hope this posts finds you in the happiest part of your day!
For anyone that knows me, it's an understatement to say that I am girly. I don't always rock pink and sparkles (well usually, lol), but I never leave home without a teasing comb, lip plumper, and a compact mirror :)
Occasionally, I find myself having a little too much going on in one look, lol - I can go cray-cray with some accessories! Knowing that this is a weakness of mine, I like to follow the rule of always removing an accessory before leaving the house!

I love my comfy atheleisure clothes, but more than anything, I love dressing up when I'm out of the house (shopping, dining, GNO, etc.). I took this look out shopping with my mom in the Woodlands, TX.
I whipped out all of my fave accessories (of course) including my favorite floppy hat, and one of my luxury handbags (not pictured). This was one of those outfits that makes you feel like you're turning heads! I felt fashion forward, and like a total it-girl!

I have this funny little thought when I'm getting ready to go somewhere about being an "it-girl" of the occasion. You're probably thinking, "what the heck is she talking about," haha! Here's the best way I can explain it: Have you ever been out somewhere and there is a girl that is just totally perfect?! She has on an adorable outfit, is super cute, and you literally like wanna be her?! (I hope that's not just me, LOL) I consider that type of girl an "it-girl."
So when I get ready to go somewhere I always think, "Would this make me an it-girl?"

There are a few things that make me feel like an it-girl, and I've listed them below!

Wearing A Hat
I'm not sure why, but every time I wear a hat (no matter if it's a beanie, baseball, or floppy hat) I feel like people stare. I'm not really the type of person that enjoys nabbing people's attention, but it DOES make me feel confident sometimes.  

A Good Handbag
I have a total weakness for handbags. I feel like they totally just set off a rockin' outfit!
One of my favorite things is a color pop bag. I think it's a fabulous look to have a neutral tone outfit with a bold statement bag. 

Lips
My makeup is never finished unless I have my a color on my lips! Truly, I can't leave the house unless I have a lippie (like not even just going to the gym). I feel so pretty and feminine with pretty lips. I try to do a lip scrub at least once a week to make sure I have plump and healthy kissers :)

Though these three things are not related in the slightest, they always make me feel like an it-girl!
